The Gallery of the Common Experience on the Campus of Texas State University showcases art exhibits relating to this year's Common Experience theme. In the past these exhibits have included artwork meant to provoke thought on the definition of Chicano identity, photo depictions of apartheid South Africa during the onset of AIDS, and political cartoons of President Lyndon Baines Johnson.
